Fairlead with Stainless Insert
Mounted aft of mast step, this plastic fairlead with stainless insert is/was used on the deck on older Lasers. Cunningham line runs from tack of sail down through fairlead then runs aft to clamcleat mounted on the deck. Stainless steel insert allows for less friction and prevents wear.
