Daggerboard Brake
The Daggerboard Brake is the most common maintenance item that is overlooked by a Laser sailor. When this is working properly, the Daggerboard stays in the raised and lowered position with less bungee tension. The Friction Pad is held in place with a plastic plate, part number LP # 91168. Be sure to use silicone sealant when adjusting or replacing this part.
