Daggerboard Brake
The Daggerboard Brake Pad is the most common maintenance item overlooked by a Laser sailor. When this is adjusted and working properly, the Daggerboard stays in the raised or lowered position with less bungee tension. The Brake Pad is held in place by a plastic plate. Be sure to use silicone sealant when adjusting or replacing this part!
