All of Astral's products are guaranteed against any manufacturing defects and are covered under warranty. Manufacturing defects will be repaired or replaced at Astral’s discretion at no cost. BIC Sport warrants its products to be free of defects in either materials or workmanship for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase. This warranty covers only the original retail customer when the product is purchased from an authorized BIC Sport dealer, and may not be transferred. This warranty does not cover any damage that may be a result of normal wear and tear, misuse of the product, abuse, unauthorised modification or repairs, accidents, heat, excessive exposure to sunlight, improper handling, storage, maintenance or care, incorrect set-up, use in commercial, rental or teaching environments, or any other irresponsible use.

THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF AND EXCLUDES ALL OTHER WARRANTIES OF QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE, WHETHER WRITTEN, ORAL, OR IMPLIED. ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE HEREBY DISCLAIMED. IN NO EVENT SHALL BIC SPORT BE LIABLE FOR SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, STATUTORY OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY OR OTHERWISE including, without limitation, loss to property other than this product, loss of use of said product, or other property or economic losses. BIC Sport shall not be liable for contribution or indemnification, whatever the cause.

All warranty claims should be referred to the original point of purchase of the product, and include a description of the problem, photo, serial number (where applicable), and proof of purchase including the date. BIC Sport will at its sole discretion decide whether the claim is acceptable and if accepted, whether the product will be repaired or replaced.

 

 

 

Extrasport guarantees that the materials and workmanship in every product we make will stand up to the use for which it was designed. This warranty does not cover damages caused by improper care, accidents, or natural breakdown of materials over time and use. All products should be returned to your local dealer for evaluation and will be replaced at our discretion. Latex gaskets are not covered under warranty. Freestyle warrants, to the original purchaser, a limited lifetime warranty that its watches are free from defects in materials and workmanship. The following are not covered under warranty: battery, strap/bracelet/band and crystal. Accidental breakage or damage due to normal wear or misuse of the product, including but not limited to the mathematical accuracy of the product, is not covered under this warranty. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, or the exclusions of or limitations on consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights, which vary from state to state.

Under this warranty Freestyle will make any necessary repairs, if applicable, at no cost to you the consumer. Any repair needed that is not under warranty will be at the cost of you the consumer. Proof of purchase and/or original receipt is needed to validate your warranty.

Your warranty is voided by any servicing out by a non-authorized agent. Any other form of guarantee to you by the retailer is his/her responsibility. This warranty applies to watches purchased in the United States. For watches purchased outside the United States, please contact your authorized Freestyle dealer for warranty information.

All Gill products come with the "Gill Guarantee". This means that you can trust a Gill product to perform whenever you need it to. The "Gill Guarantee" covers against all defects in material and workmanship which means that if, after inspection, the product is found to be defective (other than fair wear & tear) we will repair or replace it at our discretion, free of charge.

Normal wear and tear will not be warranted. Neglect and mishandling of zippers will not be warranted.

To return a Gill product to Gill NA for warranty inspection , care and / or repair please follow the below listed steps:

  • It is mandatory by law that garments are CLEAN when sent to Gill NA for inspection. Our repair vendor will not accept or handle soiled or dirty garments. Clothing received by Gill NA that is not clean will not be processed and will be returned to you.

We strongly recommend you return items via an insured, traceable method such as UPS, Fed-X or US Priority Mail. Gill North America is not responsible for lost packages or receipt without proof of delivery. We do not perform any repairs on-site.

The care and repair evaluation process can take up to four weeks from the date we receive your gear. In some instances, the process may take up to six weeks if additional testing, evaluation or repair is required.

We reserve the right to replace, pro rate replacement, or repair your gear depending on evaluation results. In some cases styles are no longer available so the latest style of comparable replacement value will be substituted. We will contact you should this be the case.

To speed up the evaluation the review process even further you may email photos of your product for an initial evaluation. Simply send digital photos of your gear and photo detail with discription of the area you’re concerned about. We will reply by call or email within a few working days. For more than 130 years, athletes and explorers have trusted their lives to Helly Hansen clothing. Technically engineered and real-world tested, all Helly Hansen garments are fully warranted against defects in materials and workmanship. Should any garment’s key features or functions fail due to a manufacturing defect, we will repair it without charge or provide a replacement.

All Helly Hansen technical outerwear garments (HellyTech, HellyTech XP and Hellytech O2) are covered by a limited lifetime warranty. Helly Hansen footwear is covered up to 1 year against defects in materials and workmanship. This policy does not cover normal wear and tear on the product.

What does "lifetime" mean? Our products are covered under warranty for the lifetime of the product. Unfortunately, this does not mean your lifetime. Your Helly Hansen jacket may not survive to the ripe old age of 80 (but we have heard from customers whose cherished Helly Hansen Jacket is still going strong after a few decades).

Will Helly Hansen repair or replace the garment? Our first option is always to repair the garment. If it is not repairable, we will gladly replace it. Please understand we may be out of stock or no longer carry that particular product style or colour, and will do everything possible to replace the garment with the closest possible style.

Are rips and tears covered under the warranty? No, rips and tears in the fabric are not covered under warranty. Even though our products are manufactured to the highest possible standards, and are well taken care of by the owner, normal wear and tear as well as unforeseen accidents are unavoidable. Should any of our garments become damaged, ripped, torn, burned or stained, we will gladly arrange to have it repaired at one of our certified Repair Centres for a reasonable charge.

What is not covered? Helly Hansen’s warranty does not cover garments damaged due to an accident, improper care, negligence or normal wear and tear. As well, please see the list of FAQs for further details.

Two Year Limited Warranty for Hobie Kayaks and Fishing Boats

Hobie Cat Company, Hobie Cat Australasia and Hobie Kayaks Europe warrant that this boat is free from defects in materials and workmanship to retail customer in their approved regions. Two year coverage on hull and all components.

THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:

  • Normal wear and discoloration.
  • Damage caused by abuse or failure to perform normal maintenance.
  • Damage caused by hitting submerged objects or beaching without retracting MirageDrive® and rudder.
  • Damage caused by mooring or storing boat in water.
  • Damage caused by improperly supporting kayak when transporting or storing.
  • Weather related damage, such as freezing, prolonged sun exposure, or high winds.
  • Damage caused by alterations or modifications.
  • Transportation of boat or parts to Hobie Cat Company or its dealers.
  • Any boat used for rental or in commercial service of any kind.
  • Any other consequential damage, incidental damages or incidental expense, including damage to property. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so this limitation may not apply to you.

Within 30 days of discovering a defect, take your boat, along with proof of purchase (sales receipt or registration card) to The Boat Locker, unless you have moved or are traveling. In that case, take it to the nearest authorized Hobie dealer.

Any implied warranties, including implied warranty of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, shall be no longer than the duration of this express warranty. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations may not apply to you.

Hobie Cat makes no express warranties in addition to this Limited Warranty. Hobie dealers have no authority to make any warranties on behalf of Hobie Cat Company in addition to or inconsistent with those stated herein.

To the extent any provision of this warranty is prohibited by Federal, State or Municipal law and cannot be preempted, it shall not be applicable. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may have other rights, which vary from state to state.

Two Year Limited Warranty for Hobie Sailboats

Hobie Cat Company, Hobie Cat Australasia and Hobie Kayak Europe warrant that this boat is free from defects in materials and workmanship to retail customers in their approved regions. All replacement parts or repairs are covered for a period of two years.

THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:

  • Normal wear and discoloration.
  • Damage caused by abuse or failure to perform normal maintenance.
  • Damage caused by alterations or modifications.
  • Transportation of boat or parts to Hobie Cat Company or its dealers.
  • Any boat used as a rental or placed in commercial service of any kind.
  • Any other consequential damage, incidental damage or incidental expense, including damage to property.

  • Damage or blistering of gel coat caused by mooring or storing boat in water.
  • Damage caused by failure to follow procedures in sailing and assembly manuals.
  • Damage caused by improperly supporting sailboat when transporting or storing.
  • Weather related damage, such as freezing, prolonged sun exposure, or high winds.

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

One Year Warranty

Our Domestic Warranty Policy is as follows: All Kaenon eyewear are warranted against breakage caused by defects in materials or manufacturing, at Kaenon's discretion, for one year from date of purchase. Warranty is void without valid proof of purchase from an authorized Kaenon authorized dealer. Warranty excludes product altered after purchase, damage caused by normal wear and tear including scratched lenses, and damage caused by any improper or unreasonable use.

Lifetime SR-91® Lens Warranty

Kaenon offers a lifetime warranty specifically covering cracking or splitting of the lens at drill-mounts, or delamination of the inner polarizing film and the lens material. This lifetime warranty specifically excludes product altered after purchase, damage caused by normal wear and tear including scratched lenses or scratched lens coatings, and damage caused by any improper or unreasonable use.

To make a warranty claim during the warranty period:

  • Begin, by filling out the Warranty & Repair Claim Form, found at the bottom of the page
  • Securely pack your Kaenon eyewear in a box and include the original proof of purchase and a note with your name, return address, telephone number, and a brief description of the damage to your Kaenon eyewear
  • Kaenon charges a nominal $10.00 processing fee on all warranty orders so please include a check or money order in the amount of $10.00 with your shipment
  • Write your Warranty Order # on the outside of the box. Items shipped without a Warranty Order # may be refused at time of delivery by the receiving department at Kaenon Polarized

LaserPerformance warrants to the original consumer purchaser of a new and unused sailboat hull manufactured by, or for LaserPerformance to be free from any manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship when used under normal conditions during the 12 months following the original purchase. Consumer purchasers may extend this warranty an additional 12 months by registering their purchase directly with LaserPerformance on our website, www.laserperformance.com. Registration does not affect your statutory rights.

If any product is used for commercial purposes, including use as a charter boat, the warranty shall expire ninety (90) days from date of purchase.

LaserPerformance’ obligations under this Limited Warranty are limited to supplying the part or parts and labor for the repair, or replacement of any part or parts that are found to be defective. This Limited Warranty does not cover the cost or expense of transporting the hull to and from LaserPerformance or an authorized dealer. Any shipping charges or freight charges incurred under this Limited Warranty shall be the responsibility of the boat owner. All warranty work must be performed by LaserPerformance or one of its authorized representatives.

Limited Warranty claims submitted by owners domiciled in territories without local LaserPerformance representation maybe required to deliver the hulls to the nearest authorized location at their expense. All warranty repairs are subject to prior authorization by LaserPerformance, and all decisions regarding warranty claims are the sole responsibility of LaserPerformance.

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER, AND IS INTENDED TO EXCLUDE, ANY LIABILITY ON THE PART OF LASERPERFORMANCE WHETHER UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY OR UNDER ANY WARRANTY IMPLIED BY LAW, FOR ANY INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES FOR BREACH HEREOF OR THEREOF.

This Limited Warranty shall not apply to any sailboat which has been subject to misuse, neglect, accident, alteration, or repair made by any unauthorized person, nor to any repair necessitated by normal wear and tear, accident, or negligence. This warranty, together with any and all warranties implied by law, shall be limited to maximum duration of 24 months from the date of purchase by the original consumer purchaser of the sailboat, and is non-transferable.

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS GIVEN IN ADDITION TO AND DOES NOT AFFECT YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS

LaserPerformance makes no warranty in respect to parts and accessories not of our manufacture, specifically excluding thereby, sails. However, certain manufacturers of such parts, including sails, and accessories do provide warranty coverage. Inquiries concerning defects in parts and accessories not of our manufacture should be forwarded to the original manufacturer.

You may secure performance of warranty obligations here under by:

  • Contacting The Boat Locker for an appointment to have us examine your boat within sixty (60) days of discovery.
  • Present “Proof of Purchase” (Dealer Invoice or LaserPerformance Original Invoice) or User Group Warranty Registration, with the Hull Identification Number and personal identification to the authorized LaserPerformance dealer to validate the Warranty Period.
  • Delivering your boat to an authorized LaserPerformance dealer for an examination.
  • The Boat Locker is obligated to follow whatever course is appropriate at the direction of LaserPerformance.
  • Upon completion of warranty obligations the dealer will notify you of when your boat is ready to be picked up.

 

 

 

Magic Marine has provided a straightforward and honest warranty procedure in order to ensure that the owners of Magic Marine products have an enjoyable and long-term experience.

Magic Marine products have a 2-year international manufacturer’s warranty on workmanship. We will repair any manufacturing faults free of charge within the guarantee period, with the only exceptions being a fault purely caused by rough treatment or accidents. If we can not repair your product then we will replace it with the same or similar product.

For warranty returns: Please take your product, clean and dry to The Boat Locker, along with your receipt. The Boat Locker will assess the suit and then arrange to return the suit back to Magic Marine's head office in the Netherlands.

If the product is found to be defective under normal use and proper care, O'Neill will repair or replace the product at our sole discretion. The decision to replace or repair a product is made by the O'Neill Warranty Department after receipt of the defective product. Defective product should be returned clean and dry, postage prepaid. Please include a note with product description, product defects, requested action, return address, daytime phone number with area code, customer's name and a copy of the purchase receipt sent to the address below. Suits without a copy of the purchase receipt will not be covered under warranty.

The following will not be covered under warranty:

  • Products classified as seconds
  • Fading from sunlight
  • Alterations
  • Materials over 1 year (from date of purchase), or 90 days for accessories
  • Repairs or alterations done by anyone other then O'Neill or an O'Neill authorized repair facility.

Ray-Ban® warrants their sunglasses against breakage due to defects in material and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase. Scratched lenses are considered normal wear and are not covered under warranty.

If service is required and you are a Ray-Ban CA customer, please pack your product in a cardboard box and use a shipping service that offers both insurance and tracking to ensure a safe delivery of your product.

Warranty Requirements
  • Your complete name, current return address, telephone number and email address.
  • A brief description of the problem or service you are requesting.
  • A copy of your dated receipt.

If the sunglasses are returned within the warranty period, and Ray-Ban finds that the breakage was due to a defect in material or workmanship, the sunglasses will be repaired or replaced at our option and returned to the sender. In the event that the damage is not due to a defect in material or workmanship additional repair charges may apply. In this event, you will receive notification of additional charges through email or letter.

 

 

 

We guarantee all workmanship for 1 year from date of purchase . This guarantee covers any defects in materials or workmanship, but does not cover normal wear and tear, airline mishandling, direct punctures or, worn out zippers, or anything of that nature.

Please note that the kevlar materials may often differ from the pictures shown. Due to the nature of our business of fashoning bags out of used sails, some discoloration/mildew/rust/rinkles and warn spots may occur. This is just part of the appeal.

 

 

 

Stohlquist products (excluding drywear) are warranted to the original purchaser for the reasonable lifetime of the product against manufacturing defects and workmanship. Stohlquist is not responsible for products that are abused or show normal wear and tear over time. Please see care instructions for the product you are purchasing so as to maximize the life of the product.

THINGS THAT VOID A WARRANTY

  • Damages caused by repairs made at an unauthorized repair shop.
  • Fit issues that arise after a product has been used. Fit issues should be resolved prior to purchase.

 

 

 

Zhik® products are fully warranted to the original owner against defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the product. If a product ever fails due to a manufacturing defect, even after extended use, we will repair the product, without charge, or replace it, at our discretion. This warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, improper care, negligence, normal wear and tear, or the natural breakdown of colours and materials over extended time and use. Damage not covered under warranty will be repaired for a reasonable rate and a fee will be charged for return shipping.
